Thank you for visiting www.shepherd.me our own family. This page provides an introduction and overview to our family tree. Please note it is not just for shepherds but is growing to include all branches. There are currently 93 families in the database.
Security – the heavy stuff. The first thing you need to do is request a login. I control who has access so the site is secure, just let me know who you are and if you intend to add information or just want to have a look, you can request a change of access at anytime. All media files, photos, documents are held behind a secure firewall. These can not be copied or seen by anyone not having the correct login. Please protect your login to protect your family.
Getting Started – the good stuff. To begin working with the data, choose one of the charts from the Charts menu, go to the Individual list, or search for a name or place. If you have trouble using the site, you can click on the Help icon to give you information on how to use the page that you are currently viewing.
The Future - the fun stuff. I am also collecting stories and narrative about major family events, this could be text, voice recording, video, photos or a combination. How cool would it be to see and hear past generations? I will help edit and upload files.
If you have information but can not add it yourself you can email on paul@shepherd.me I am grateful for your help with this project. Once the historic work is complete it will be a fantastic resource for generations to come.
Paul
